Lehtonen leads the Stars onto the ice for warmups.

Lehtonen allowed three goals on 33 shots in Thursday’s loss to the Predators. Lehtonen is struggling right now—Thursday marked his fifth straight loss; he has posted a 3.20 GAA and .889 SV% over that span. He will look to climb back into the win column tonight on the road in Arizona.

Kari Lehtonen
Anderson starts for the Senators.

Anderson stopped 36 of 37 shots in the Senators’ shootout loss to the Jets on Saturday. He was given Sunday night off and Robin Lehner struggled, so Anderson will be back in the cage tonight vs. the Canucks. Anderson is 1-2-0 with a 1.68 GAA and .955 SV% on the road this season.

Craig Anderson
Rinne leads the Predators onto the ice for warmups.

Rinne allowed one goal on 29 shots in the Predators win over the Blues on Saturday. Rinne has won three in a row and four of the last five while posting a 1.81 GAA and .939 SV%. He has been hard to beat through his first 12 starts having posted a 9-2-1 record. Tonight he takes on an Edmonton team who have won two in a row, but sit at 6-8-1 on the year.

Pekka Rinne
Fleury gets the start for the Penguins.

Fleury allowed a single goal on 21 shots in the Penguins 6-1 blowout of the Sabres. It was Men vs. Boys on Saturday, but that won’t be the case in The Big Apple on Tuesday. Fleury is scorching hot as of last—he has won six in a row while posting a 1.15 GAA and .955 SV%. Do yourself a favour and don’t even think about benching him.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Schneider will start in goal for the Devils.

Schneider allowed four goals on 23 shots in the Devils loss to the Bruins last night. He has dropped each of his last four starts, but will still get the nod on back-to-back nights. Tonight will mark his 16th consecutive start of the year, he holds a 2.99 GAA and .901 SV% through the first 15.

Cory Schneider
Anderson was the first goalie off of the ice at the morning skate.

Anderson stopped 36 of 37 shots in the Senators’ shootout loss to the Jets on Saturday. He was given Sunday night off and Robin Lehner struggled, so it looks like Anderson will be back in the cage tonight vs. the Canucks. Anderson is 1-2-0 with a 1.68 GAA and .955 SV% on the road this season.

Craig Anderson
Miller starts between the pipes for the Canucks.

Miller allowed four goals on 22 shots in the Canucks loss to the Kings on Saturday. After taking Sunday off, Miller will be back between the pipes tonight vs. the Senators. After one bad start there is no reason to panic, he has won 10 of 12 with a 2.42 GAA and .913 SV%, get him in your lineup tonight.

Ryan Miller
Perry is out with a viral gland infection; he is undergoing testing and results are pending.

Perry, who has missed the last three games, was placed on IR on Sunday and it now sounds like he is going to miss a few more games with a viral infection. We will wait for official word from the Ducks after the testing results come in.

Corey Perry
Fleury is the Penguins projected starter.

The Penguins have recalled Beau Bennett from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Bennett, 22, had five assists in two games in his brief conditioning stint with WBS. The oft-injured Bennett has worked his way back from a knee injury suffered in training camp. Now that he is back, the goal will be to stay healthy for an extended period of time. There is a good chance he ends up on the second line with Evgeni Malkin and Pascal Dupuis, which would make him a nice pickup in standard leagues.

Beau Bennett
Lehtonen was the first goalie off of the ice this morning.

The Stars have traded Sergei Gonchar to the Canadiesn for Travis Moen.

Gonchar, 40, has an annual cap-hit of $5 million (per nhlnumbers.com) and has just one point this season. He has only appeared in the three most recent games for the Stars and shipping him out for the much cheaper Moen, suggests that this was a salary dump and that the Stars have something else up their sleeves.
