Howard has not recorded a win since December 3rd, having lost his last eight starts (0-5-3) while posting a 3.93 GAA and .885 SV%. Howard comes in at 2-3-3 with a 3.34 GAA and .897 SV% on the road this season.

Montoya allowed two goals on 15 shots after replacing Roberto Luongo in the Panthers loss to the Blues on Friday. Montoya is 1-2-0 with a 2.66 GAA and .917 SV% since the All-Star break and comes in at 2-2-1 with a 2.27 GAA and .919 SV% on home ice this season. For a Monday spot-start, there are better matchups than the Penguins.

Greiss stopped all three shots that he faced after replacing Jaroslav Halak in the Islanders loss to the Hurricanes on Saturday. Greiss has won four in a row while posting a 2.50 GAA and .918 SV%. He has yet to face the Red Wings this season but is 9-3-2 with a2.18 GAA and .928 SV% on home ice.


Gibson suffered an upper-body injury on Saturday, but is not expected to be out longterm. The Ducks have recalled Anton Khudobin from San Diego (AHL) likely to backup Frederik Andersen on Monday.

Hiller allowed four goals on 35 shots in the Flames loss in Arizona on Friday. With Karri Ramo sidelined, Hiller will remain in net this afternoon vs. the Ducks. Hiller is 3-1-0 with a 2.56 GAA and .930 SV% in his last four outings and comes in with a 1-2-0 record, 3.43 GAA and .889 SV% in three starts vs. Anaheim since joining the Flames.

Markstrom stopped 29 of 30 shots in the Canucks win in Colorado last Tuesday. Ryan Miller started the last two games, but Markstrom will go tonight vs. the Wild. Markstrom has won four consecutive games while posting a 1.71 GAA and .945 SV%. Markstrom draws a great matchup vs. a Wild team that fired their coach on Saturday and come in on an eight-game losing streak.

Lundqvist stopped all 34 shots that he faced in the Rangers shutout win over the Penguins on Wednesday. Lundqvist has won four in a row while posting a 1.23 GAA and .954 SV%. Lundqvist has gone 2-0-1 with a 1.85 GAA and .946 SV% in three starts against the Flyers this season.


Rask allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Bruins win in Winnipeg on Thursday. Jonas Gustavsson started yesterday, so they’ll go to Rask today in Detroit. He has gone 3-1-1 with a 2.97 GAA and .917 SV% since the All-Star break and made 22 saves in a 3-1 win over the Red Wings back in November.





Elliott allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Blues win in Florida on Friday. Elliott has gone 3-1-1 with a 1.59 GAA and .947 SV% since the All-Star break. Elliott has been great since Jake Allen got hurt, posting a 1.77 GAA and .944 SV% in 13 starts. Tonight he faces a Lightning team that has won four of six.
