Datsyuk (groin) will not play on Sunday vs. Tampa Bay.

Datsyuk will miss his second straight game with a groin injury that he suffered on Friday before their win vs. the Devils. “I have no idea when Pav will be back,” coach Mike Babcock said Saturday. After Sunday, the Wings don’t play again until Friday, so he will have a full week to heal.

The Maple Leafs have recalled Trevor Smith from Toronto (AHL).

Smith, 29, has two goals and three assists in eight game with the Marlies this season. His recall suggests that Daniel Winnik will be unavailable again and that Peter Holland might not play tonight. Holland had to get X-rays after Saturday’s win in New York, so Smith could be make his season vs. the Senators.

Ference will return to the Oilers lineup on Sunday after serving his three-game suspension.

Ference was suspended for three games for his hit on Zack Kassian on November 1st. Ference will be paired with Justin Schultz, which means that Martin Marincin will come out of the lineup.

Andrew Ference
Fasth will be back in goal for the Oilers.

Fasth stopped 29 of 31 shots in the Oilers 3-2 win over the Sabres on Thursday. It was Fasth’s first win of the season and it earned him a second consecutive start tonight in New York. It will be a much more difficult task than Friday, but he might not be a bad spot-start for people who are desperate for goalie numbers.

Viktor Fasth
Miller leads the Canucks onto the ice for warmups.

Miller allowed two goals on 36 shots in a 3-2 win over the Sharks on Thursday. Miller has won seven in a row and 10 of his 11 starts on the year, while posting a 2.20 GAA and .920 SV%. After a so-so season in 2013-14, Miller has been excellent in his first month with the Canucks.

Ryan Miller
Rinne leads the Predators onto the ice for warmups.

Rinne stopped 33 of 35 shots in the Predators 3-2 win over the Stars on Thursday. Rinne is off to a great start to the year, having won eight of his first 11 starts with a 1.89 GAA and .932 SV%. He draws a tough road matchup, but Rinne has gone 4-1-0 on the road this season.

Pekka Rinne
Lindback leads the Stars onto the ice for warmups.

Lindback gave up six goals on 28 shots in a 7-5 loss to the Islanders on October 25th. He has allowed nine goals on 60 shots (.850 SV%) in his only two starts of the season. He could be in danger of losing his backup job if he has another bad outing; which is likely with the seventh best offence in town—San Jose is averaging 2.93 goals per game.

Anders Lindback
Fleury will start for the Penguins.

Fleury stopped 34 of 37 shots in a 4-3 shootout win over the Jets on Thursday. He has been unreal lately, winning five in a row with a 1.18 GAA, .956 SV% and three shutouts. With Sunday off, it is no surprise it looks like the Pens will roll Fleury out there again. He is a must-start vs. the Sabres.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Peters starts vs. the Hurricanes.

Peters gave up six goals on 30 shots in the Hurricanes loss to the Coyotes last Sunday. With Braden Holtby getting the call last night vs. the Blackhawks, Peters will be in goal tonight vs. his former team. The Hurricanes are on a four-game winning streak, but Peters could make for a nice spot-start because of the motivation to beat his former teammates.

Justin Peters
Stalock draws back into the Sharks goal on Saturday.

Stalock stopped 13 of 15 shots, but walked away on the losing end of a 2-1 final on October 25th vs. Buffalo. Antti Niemi has played very well, which limited Stalock to four starts in the Sharks first 14 games. He is 1-2-1 with a 2.22 GAA and .924 SV% in the early part of the season.

Alex Stalock
Pavelec gets the call in goal for the Jets.

Pavelec surrendered three goals on 35 shots in a shootout defeat against the Penguins on Thursday. Despite the loss, Pavelec is 2-0-1 with a 1.27 GAA and .959 SV% in three November starts. Tonight he gets the call in Ottawa—he has gone 3-1-1 with a 1.73 GAA and .937 SV% away from the MTS Centre.

Ondrej Pavelec
Perry (flu) is doubtful for the Ducks’ game on Sunday.

Perry has missed the last two games and was not at Ducks’ practice on Saturday. He is struggling with the flu and it does not seem likely that he will play tomorrow vs. Vancouver. After Sunday, the Ducks are off until Wednesday, so there is a good chance he will be back for that clash with the Kings.

Corey Perry
Fowler is listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Fowler left Friday’s game with a lower-body injury, but head coach Bruce Bourdreau said that Fowler could play on Sunday. He is listed as day-to-day, which sounds worse than it is if he is a possibility for tomorrow. Monitor his status during tomorrow’s morning skate.

The Canadiens have recalled Drayson Bowman from Hamilton (AHL).

Bowman, 25, has two goals and four assists in 11 games with Hamilton. This is his first season in the Habs organization, he had been with the Hurricanes since 2009-10. He has been recalled to fill-in for the injured Michael Bournival.

Drayson Bowman
The Stars have recalled Curtis McKenzie from Texas (AHL).

McKenzie, 23, has played well in two games with the Stars, but has yet to record his first NHL point. He has four points (2G / 2A) in five games with Texas. He could stick with the Stars for a bit if Valeri Nichushkin is sidelined for a lengthy period of time again.
