Holtby stopped 34 shots in a 4-1 win in the first meeting with the Islanders. Holtby comes in with an unreal 16-2-1 record, 1.98 GAA and .928 SV% on home ice this season.

Ness has been recalled because Taylor Chorney is questionable for Thursday’s game. Ness has two assists in eight games with the Capitals this season and 15 points (2G / 13A) in 32 games with Hershey (AHL).

Elliott stopped all 16 shots that he faced in the Blues shutout win over the Predators on Tuesday. With Jake Allen out, Elliott is expected to man the net for the foreseeable future. Elliott has gone 6-2-1 with a 1.77 GAA and .944 SV% in his last nine starts. Tonight he will face a Sharks team that has lost two of their last three, but have averaged 3.31 goals per game in 2016.

Luongo stopped 22 of 23 in a win over the Maple Leafs before the All-Star break. Luongo got a break on Tuesday after participating in the All-Star game over the weekend. Luongo has won each of his last three starts while posting a 1.00 GAA, .967 SV% and one shutout. He’s been red-hot and he catches a break tonight with the Red Wings coming in on a back-to-back.

Brodie was injured after blocking a Justin Faulk slapshot on Wednesday and did not return. The Flames did not have an update on Brodie’s status, so he is listed as questionable for Friday’s game. Monitor his status during tomorrow’s morning skate.

Pickard has played very well in his last two outings and despite Semyon Varlamov being back with the team, Pickard will go again tonight vs. the Stars. Pickard has allowed five goals on 80 shots (.938 SV%) in his last two outings, but draws another rough matchup tonight.





Crawford allowed one goal on 23 shots in the Blackhawks win in Colorado on Tuesday. Dating back to December 29th, Crawford has gone 11-2-0 with a 1.86 GAA, .944 SV% and two shutouts. Tonight he faces a Coyotes team that has fallen off as of late, losing 2-5-1 in their last eight games—Crawford recorded the W in his first start against the Yotes this season.



Reimer allowed three goals on 42 shots in the Maple Leafs OT win over the Bruins on Tuesday. Reimer got February off to a nice start, recording his ninth win of the season. Tonight, Reimer will take on a Devils team that has won five of their last six games while averaging 3.00 goals per game. Reimer has gone 3-4-5 with a 2.24 GAA and .929 SV% on home ice this season.

Lack stopped all 26 shots that he faced in the Hurricanes shutout win over the Blackhawks on January 26th. Lack has won three of his last four starts while posting a 1.48 GAA, .952 SV% and two shutouts. Lack has turned things around and makes for a reasonable option tonight vs. the Flames—Calgary has lost five of their last six games coming into tonight.
