The Lightning recalled Jonathan Drouin from Syracuse (AHL).

The third overall pick in the 2013 draft, Drouin, 19, had a goal, two assists and a plus-4 rating in his brief conditioning stint with Syracuse. He was assigned to Syracuse on Thursday to receive more live action to complete his recovery from a slight fracture in his right thumb sustained in September. The Lightning are in action on Monday night and it will likely be Drouin's NHL debut.

Klein (face) is listed as day-to-day.

Klein was hit in the face by a puck on Sunday night and had to receive stitches following the 4-0 victory. The Rangers take on the Devils on Tuesday, so monitor Klein's status during tomorrow's morning skate.

Stastny is out week-to-week with a shoulder injury.

Stastny was injured in the Blues contest on Saturday night and will miss an extended period of time with a shoulder issue. Week-to-week is a very vague timetable, but expect him to miss at least one week and be re-evaluated after that. He had one goal and three assists in his first four games with the Blues.

Paul Stastny
Smith-Pelly will start on the Ducks top-line on Sunday.

Smith-Pelly has one goal and one assist in the first five games of the season. Based off of line rushes in pregame warmups it looks like he will play with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry tonight vs. St. Louis. He has played there in the past and could stick if he plays well.

Devante Smith-Pelly
Girardi (lower-body) left Sunday's game and will not return.

Girardi was injured when he blocked a shot in the early in the third period. He played just one shift in the third and will not return. This would be a huge loss for a Rangers blueline that is already struggling in the early part of the season.

The Stars have recalled Jyrki Jokipakka from Texas (AHL).

Jokipakka, 23, was the 195th overall pick in 2011. He has one goal in three games with Texas this season and had 21 points (5G / 16A) in 68 games last season. He will take Patrik Nemeth's spot.

Jyrki Jokipakka
Elliott is the Blues confirmed starter.

Elliott stopped all 18 shots in the Blues 1-0 shootout loss to the Kings on Thursday. Elliott matched Jonathan Quick save for save, but was outduelled in the shootout. He has been sensational in the early part of the season, posting a 1.31 GAA and .940 SV% in three starts. He draws a tough matchup tonight, but he worth a start.

Brian Elliott
Stalock is the Sharks confirmed starter.

Stalock allowed three goals on 45 shots in the Sharks shootout loss to the Islanders on Thursday. Stalock was a busy guy for the second straight start---he has faced 75 shots in his first two starts, stopping 72 (.960 SV%). He will go head-to-head with Henrik Lundqvist in the Big Apple today.

Alex Stalock
Quick leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick stopped all 43 shots he faced in a 1-0 shootout win over the Blues on Thursday. Quick has enjoyed a great start to the season, having posted a 2.09 GAA and .944 SV% in his first four starts. He draws a rough matchup vs. the Wild, but Quick is a must-start whenever he gets the nod.

Jonathan Quick
Staal (upper-body) skated on his own on Sunday, might play against the Canucks (Oct 28).

Staal has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury he suffered last Saturday. Sunday marked the first time that Staal skated since being injured, but he is expected to miss at least one more week.

Eric Staal
The Canucks have sent Bo Horvat (shoulder) to Utica (AHL) for a conditioning stint.

Horvat has been out with shoulder injury, but sending him on a conditioning stint is a good sign that the Canucks are planning to keep Horvat with the big club. He can stay with Utica for a maximum of two weeks.

The Bruins have assigned Ryan Spooner to Providence (AHL).

Spooner did not record a point and had a minus-2 rating in his first five games this season. He was a healthy scratch in the last two games and played just 4:22 in his last contest. Expect to see him back with the Bruins at some point this year.
