Lecavalier was a healthy scratch on Tuesday for the first time in his NHL career and despite the Flyers losing 2-1, they will sit the veteran yet again.

Bortuzzo’s hit was late and he also made contact with Jagr’s chin. Because Bortuzzo did not leave his feet on the hit, he got off with a relatively short suspension. Bortuzo is eligible to return next Monday in New York. Expect Brian Dumoulin to play in the two games in which Bortuzzo will be unavailable.

Martinez was set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season (per NHLNumbers). He is now signed through the 2020-21 season and will have a $4 million cap-hit. Martinez has seven points (2G / 5A) in 18 games this season, but just returned to the lineup last night after missing seven games with a finger injury.

Eaves was injured while blocking a shot in Tuesday’s loss to the Maple Leafs. The veteran forward will be “out for awhile” according to coach Ruff, who also added that the injury is “pretty bad”. The Stars have called up Curtis McKenzie.

Gaborik continues to skate with the Kings and he said that he should be back soon, but doesn’t know if he will travel to Arizona for Thursday’s game. Seems like he will be out tomorrow but should be back in the lineup come Saturday, back at home vs. the Flyers.

Andersen stopped 32 of 34 shots in the Ducks’ 3-2 win over the Bruins on Monday. With John Gibson still on IR and Jason LaBarbera out for 2-3 weeks, the job is all Andersen’s. Over the last two weeks, Andersen has won four of six with a 2.91 GAA and .911 SV%. Tonight he makes for a great start against a struggling Flyers squad.

Holden’s move to forward is part necessity and part punishment. Holden has struggled this season, evidenced by his team-worst minus-16 rating. He will skate on the Avs’ fourth line with Cody McLeod and Michael Sgarbossa, while Karl Stollery will take his spot on the blue line.

The Avalanche are extremely banged up right now and they will dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen on Thursday vs. Calgary. Nick Holden will play as a forward, which leaves Stollery to draw in on the third pairing.

Cunningham, 24, did not get into a during this recall. He returns to Providence where he has tallied 13 points (4G / 9A) in 18 games this season.

Shinnimin, 23, failed to record a point in two games during his recall. He returns to the AHL where he has 14 points (4G / 10A) in 19 games.

Mason allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Flyers 2-1 loss to the Sharks last night. The game-winner came with just 12 seconds left in the game, a heart-breaking fourth straight loss for Mason. He shouldn’t really been considered a four-game skid considering one came in the shootout after a 46-save shutout—he has a 2.22 GAA and .928 SV% over than span.

Pitlick was a plus-1 and had one shot in 9:57 TOI in his season debut on Monday. In 14 games in Oklahoma City (AHL), Pitlickhad three goals and six assists. He could have some value in daily fantasy leagues, but the way things are going for the Oilers right now, I wouldn’t have too much faith.

Ramo stopped 27 of 29 shots in the Flames 5-2 win over the Coyotes on Tuesday. Ramo is on fire right now, he has allowed just two goals in his last three games and has won six consecutive starts with a 2.15 GAA and .926 SV%. Tonight he faces an Avalanche team who has averaged 3.60 goals per game in their last five.

Anderson allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Sens 3-2 OT loss to the Islanders on Tuesday. The loss was Anderson’s 10th of the season, but fourth in extra time, making his 5-5-4 with a 2.46 GAA and .930 SV% on the year. Tonight he gets another shot at the Isles, this time at home where he is 3-0-2.

Raymond missed his 16th straight game on Tuesday, but skated on a regular line in practice today. Despite that he still isn't available for tomorrow but is definitely getting close. Monitor his status leading up to Sunday's game.

Wilson was injured in his NHL debut on Tuesday. His injury means that the is probably heading back to the AHL and another forward will be recalled with Chris Kunitz (foot) sidelined.

Bouwmeester will miss his fifth consecutive game with a groin injury when the Blues take on the Blackhawks tonight. The Blues had three days off in between games and Bouwmeester had been practicing, so it looked like he would be back in the lineup tonight, but he will sit at least one more game. The Blues play again tomorrow so monitor Bouwmeester’s status.

Scrivens gave up four goals on 41 shots in the Oilers loss to the Blues last Friday. Scrivens has a personal nine-game losing streak and the Oilers have lost each of their last 10. He has a 3.38 GAA and .888 SV% in 17 games this season, but even with a decent matchup tonight, Scrivens can’t be trusted until things start trending in a positive direction for Edmonton.

Stoner has missed the last five games with a case of the mumps. His return is perfectly timed, because the Ducks found out today that Eric Brewer will be missing 4-6 weeks with a broken bone in his foot.

Bryzgalov was originally drafted by the Ducks back in 2000. He spent six an a half years in Anaheim before moving on to Phoenix, Phildelphia, Edmonton and Minnesota. Last year he went 12-9-8 with a 2.68 GAA and .909 SV%. He has been brought in because John Gibson is on IR likely until Christmas and Jason LaBarbera will miss 2-3 weeks with a broken bone in his hand.
