Paquette suffered an undisclosed injury while blocking a shot in Saturday’s loss in Chicago. Paquette will come out of the lineup on Tuesday and could be replaced by Brian Boyle, who is listed as a game-time decision. Paquette is listed as day-to-day.

The Bruins currently rank third in the NHL in goals (3.86 G/PG), so it won’t be an easy night for Smith on a back-to-back.

Hanifin has recorded two assists, 10 shots on goal and a minus-3 rating in eight games to begin his NHL career. Hanifin will get the night off, but is expected to be back in the lineup on Thursday in New York.

Bennett has missed the last five games with a concussion, but he was back at practice this morning and he is hoping to be cleared for Wednesday’s game in Washington. Bennett skated on the Penguins fourth line with Matt Cullen and Sergei Plotnikov.

Talbot has been a healthy scratch in the last four games and has now been sent back to Providence. Talbot registered no points in two games with the Bruins.

Dubnyk’s availability for tonight’s game was in question because of a knee injury, but an MRI revealed it’s just inflammation and he is good to go. Dubnyk has won five of seven starts this season while posting a 2.27 GAA and .909 SV%. Tonight he will face his former team, who he has gone 5-1-0 with a 0.99 GAA and .960 SV% against in his career.

Mason made 37 saves on 39 shots in the Flyers win over the Rangers on Saturday. After losing three in a row to start the season, Mason has won two straight while stopping 51 of 55 shots (.927 SV%). He draws a great matchup tonight vs. a Sabres team who has lost four of five while being outscored 17-10.

Johnson allowed seven goals on 26 shots in the Sabres 7-2 loss to Montreal last Friday. As the Sabres starter Johnson has won two of six starts while posting a 3.06 GAA and .879 SV%. Tonight he will face a Flyers team who is averaging just 2.14 goals per game, but he is still a risky start.

Jarnkrok missed Saturday’s game and Sunday’s practice, but he was back at practice this morning, which suggests that he could be back in the lineup on Wednesday in San Jose. Jarnkrok has just one assist in seven games this season.
