Berra starts for the Flames.

Berra allowed two goals on 26 shots in a loss to the Penguins on Saturday. He has now lost his last five starts and hasn't recorded a W since December 23. Tonight he takes on the Jets who are 1-0 under new head coach Paul Maurice.

Reto Berra
Stalock was the first goalie off of the ice at the Sharks' morning skate; expect him to start.

Stalock allowed two goals on 35 shots in a win over the Blackhawks on January 5. After sitting for the last four games, Stalock will draw back into the crease tonight. He enters play with 5-2-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .932 SV% and draws a strong matchup vs. the Panthers.

The Jets have recalled Carl Klingberg from St. John's (AHL).

Klingberg, 22, has played in 33 games with the IceCaps so far this season. In that time, the he has recorded 18 points (11G / 7A) and 20 penalty minutes. He has played in seven career NHL games between Atlanta and Winnipeg where he recorded four penalty minutes.

Carl Klingberg
The Jets have placed Evander Kane (hand) on injured reserve retroactive to January 7.

Kane will miss his third straight game tonight, but will be eligible to come off of IR as soon as he is healthy. It doesn't sound like Kane is making too much progress, but continue to monitor his status heading into Saturday's game. His placement on IR allowed the Jets to recall Carl Klingberg.

Evander Kane
Hemsky (ankle) is out tonight.

Hemsky took a puck in the ankle on Tuesday and that will keep him out of action tonight. Jesse Joensuu will enter the lineup in Hemsky's place. There is no word on how severe the ankle injury is, but consider him day-to-day for now.

Ales Hemsky
Hutton starts for the Predators.

After the Preds acquired Devan Dubnyk on Wednesday, there was speculation that Hutton would get sent down, but he will start tonight. He allowed two goals on 24 shots in a win over the Flames on Tuesday. He will take on the Flyers who have won 10 of their last 13.

Carter Hutton
Howard (hip flexor) is good-to-go tonight and will start vs. the Rangers.

Howard stopped 44 of 45 shots in a 3-1 win over the Kings on Saturday. It was a fantastic display of goaltending on Saturday, but Howard needs to string a couple of strong outings together, he has been frustratingly inconsistent this season. Tonight he will face the Rangers for the second time, the Red Wings were defeated in OT the first time around.

Jimmy Howard
Parenteau seems on track to return to the lineup much sooner that originally expected after suffering a sprained medial collateral ligament against Winnipeg on December 29.

Parenteau's original timetable was six weeks, but it sounds like he is in-line to return sooner than that. It has already been over two weeks so there is a chance he could be back by early February.

P.A. Parenteau
Guenin will be out another "seven to 10 days" with a bruised ankle. "It's a bruise, it's not broken, but it's a pretty bad bruise," Patrick Roy said.

Guenin has not played since January 4, but could return to the blueline next week. He has four assists and 14 PIMs in 38 games this season.

Nate Guenin
Scrivens will start for the Oilers tonight.

Scrivens will make his Oilers debut tonight after being acquired on Wednesday. Scrivens was 7-5-3 with a 1.97 GAA and .931 SV% with the Kings, but things are not going to be as easy in Edmonton. He has a good opportunity to uproot Ilya Bryzgalov as the Oilers' starter and that begins with a tough challenge vs. the Wild tonight.

Ben Scrivens
Darcy Kuemper starts in net tonight.

Kuemper allowed three goals on 32 shots in a shootout loss against the Senators on Tuesday. Regardless of the loss, this marks three straight good games for Kuemper. Tonight he will take on an Oilers team who have lost seven of their last nine games and will have their new goalie in between the pipes tonight.

Darcy Kuemper
Lehtonen was the first goalie off the ice this morning, he is expected to start.

Lehtonen stopped 31 of 33 shots in Tuesday's victory over the Oilers. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Finnish Olympian and was his 17th of the season. However chalking up his 18th win is not going the be easy with the Boston Bruins in town.
