Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma said that Malkin (leg) "might" play this afternoon.

Malkin will be a game-time decision for this afternoon's matchup with the Jets. The Pens will get Letang back today, so getting Malkin back would be an added bonus. He will be a game-time decision after a nine game absence.

Fleury starts in goal for the Penguins.

Fleury stopped 33 of 35 shots in a dominant 5-2 win over the Rangers on Friday. It was his league leading 23rd win of the season and he will look for number-24 today vs. the Jets. Fleury has been excellent at home going 15-2-0 with a 1.73 GAA and .941 SV%. He is a must-start today, unless you have the goalie stats locked up.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Letang (elbow) will return to the Penguins lineup this afternoon.

Letang missed the last 10 games with an elbow infection. He was out a little longer than expected, but it is great the Penguins to get their premiere defenseman back today. It has been a troubling year for Letang. He has been battling injuries and has tallied only 11 points (6G / 5A) with a minus-6 rating in 24 games. Expect him to play 20-plus minutes and see tons of power-play time in his return.

Kris Letang
Luongo lost 3-1 in his return to the Canucks' net.

Luongo shut the door through the first two periods but the Kings were able to push two goals past him and added an empty netter in the final frame. Despite the loss Bobby Lu had a great night, he stopped 46 of 48 shots (.958 SV%) after missing the previous three games with a groin injury. The Canucks are back in action on Sunday, but I would expect Eddie Lack to get the call after Luongo's busy Saturday night.

Roberto Luongo
After missing nearly two months with a grade 2 groin strain, Quick returned to the Kings' crease on Saturday and led them to a 3-1 win.

Quick allowed a goal mid-way through the first period but stopped the remaining shots, totalling 27 saves on 28 shots (.964 SV%). Quick showed no rust in his return and will likely be back in the crease on Tuesday vs. Minnesota.

Jonathan Quick
Quick leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups; he starts.

Quick will start his first game since November 12 after missing nearly eight weeks with a grade 2 groin strain. Before getting injured he was 10-5-0 with a 2.35 GAA and .905 SV%. He is expected to resume a full workload of starts as he works his way back into shape in the next month leading up to the Sochi Olympics. He will face the Canucks for the second time this season, in the first meeting he stopped 25 of 26 shots in a 5-1 win over November 9.

Jonathan Quick
Datsyuk (lower-body) is out tonight.

Datsyuk was listed as a game-time decision heading into tonight's game vs. Dallas, but he has been ruled out with a lower-body injury. The Red Wings have the next four days off so keeping him out of tonight's contest gives him a number of days to heal before they take on the Sharks on Thursday.

Pavel Datsyuk
Doan (illness) is back in the Coyotes lineup tonight as expected.

Doan has missed the last 12 games because of an infection, but will play tonight vs. the Flyers. Doan had been extremely fatigued because of the bacterial infection, so expect them to ease him back into action tonight. Doan has 23 points (12G / 11A) in 27 games.

Shane Doan
Ellis leads the Stars onto the ice for warmups; he starts.

Ellis allowed two goals on 27 shots in a win over the Avalanche on December 17. His 3.04 GAA and .904 SV% aren’t exactly great numbers but Ellis has yet to lose at home, going 4-0-0 with a 2.39 GAA and .919 SV%.

Dan Ellis
Smith leads the Coyotes onto the ice for warmups; he starts.

Smith allowed two goals on 31 shots in Thursday's 2-0 loss to the Blue Jackets. He has lost his last four starts and has not won since December 21. Tonight he will face the Flyers at home. Smith has posted a 9-4-3 record with a 2.86 GAA and .905 SV% at home this season.

Mike Smith
Mazanec starts for the Predators.

Mazanec allowed three goals on 25 shots in an OT loss to the Bruins on Thursday. Mazanec has been the better of the two Predators goalies, but still is not a good fantasy option. However he has a solid matchup vs. a Panthers team who have lost four of their last five. Regardless of the matchup, take a look at all of your other options tonight.

Marek Mazanec
The Ducks have signed pending unrestricted free-agent to a four-year deal worth $12 million US.

Cogliano is in his seventh NHL season and third with the Ducks. He is having a career year having posted 14 goals and 11 assists (25 points) in 43 games. His career is 45 points (18G / 27A) that he recorded in his rookie season back in 2007-08. Cogliano is signed through the 2017-18 season.

Andrew Cogliano
The Rangers have acquired Dan Carcillo from the Kings in exchange for a 7th round pick.

After losing Derek Dorsett to a broken fibula last night, the Rangers make what coach Alain Vigneault called a "low-risk" move by bringing in another fourth-liner in. Carcillo has appeared in 26 games with the Kings this season, he has one goal, one assist, a minus-1 rating and 57 PIMs.

Dan Carcillo
The Coyotes did not have a morning skate but Smith is expected to start for the Coyotes.

Smith allowed two goals on 31 shots in Thursday's 2-0 loss to the Blue Jackets. He has lost his last four starts and has not won since December 21. Tonight he is expected to face the Flyers at home. Smith has posted a 9-4-3 record with a 2.86 GAA and .905 SV% at home this season.

Mike Smith
Volchenkov (undisclosed) has been activated from IR and will play tonight.

Volchenkov has missed the last three games but will play tonight in Eric Gelinas place, who has been assigned to Albany. Volchenkov is a more useful player for the Devils than he is for your fantasy team. He has six assists in 31 games.

Anton Volchenkov
Letang (elbow) will be re-evaluated on Sunday and could play vs. the Jets.

Letang was practicing today and took reps with the Penguins top power-play unit which is a positive sign that he could make his return tomorrow. The game starts at one so he will likely be re-evaluated in the morning and head coach Dan Bylsma will address the media a few hours before puck-drop.

Kris Letang
Malkin (leg) will be re-evaluated on Sunday and could play vs. the Jets.

Malkin participated in practice this morning and took reps on the Penguins power-play, which is a good sign that he could be available on Sunday. He will likely visit doctors in the morning and a decision will be made shortly after. Monitor his status in the morning as the puck-drops at 1:00 p.m EST.
