The extent of Bryzgalov's upper-body injury still to be determined, says Coach Dallas Eakins.

Bryzgalov left Sunday's contest 16:19 into the second period after being bowled over by a Stars forward. He had a solid game going stopping 28 of 29 shots before departing the ice. There is always the fear of a concussion when you see a collision like this, but we await an official word from the Oilers after he is re-evaluated.

Halak returns to the Blues' net tonight.

Halak allowed one goal on 19 shots in relief of Brian Elliott on Friday. Halak has won each of his last four starts while never allowing more that two goals in those contests. He will face a stiff test tonight in Los Angeles. He is 6-2-0 with a 2.09 GAA and .919 SV% on the road this season.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated center Brandon Dubinsky (foot) off Injured Reserve.

Dubinsky, 27, has tallied five goals and 10 assists for 15 points with 40 penalty minutes and a plus-1 rating in 21 games this season. He leads the club in PIM and time on ice among forwards (19:30), ranks second in assists, third in points and is tied for sixth in goals. He has also netted two power play, two shorthanded and one game-winning goal and won 55.9 percent of face-offs he’s taken. This move all but ensures he will return to the lineup tomorrow.

The Devils have recalled Tim Sestito from Albany (AHL).

Sestito will make his season debut tonight vs. the Canadiens. With Ryan Carter out, he is expected to slot in on the fourth line instead of Mattias Tedenby. He has five goals and 13 points in 21 games with Albany this season, but has just three career assists in 70 NHL games.

Tim Sestito
As expected, Scrivens goes for the Kings.

Scrivens allowed two goals on 20 shots in a loss to the Flames on Saturday. He misplayed the puck behind the net leading to a Calgary goal, but other than that one play he has been exceptional. He has not allowed more than two goals in a start since taking over for Jonathan Quick. This is no longer just a hot-streak, Scrivens is legit and is expected to start every game until Christmas, which makes him even more valuable.

Ben Scrivens
Red Wings GM Ken Holland said Datsyuk needs "a good week of practice'' before being cleared to play, and isn't sure if he'll practice Tuesday.

Datsyuk is highly doubtful to play on Wednesday, and probably won't play at all this week. It sounds like Datsyuk is feeling OK, just not quite ready to jump back into practice. He is one of the best players in the NHL and the Red WIngs are not going to rush him back and risk getting injured again. The fact that the Red WIngs are 4-0 without him makes the decision not to rush him even easier.

Pavel Datsyuk
Tyler Seguin skated prior to practice today. Lindy Ruff said Seguin felt pretty good, team encouraged it may be "only a couple days."

Seguin missed Sunday's contest with concussion-like symptoms that he suffered on Friday. I think there is a small chance that Seguin plays tomorrow vs. Chicago and Thursday in Toronto is more likely. There is a lot of history with Seguin and the Maple Leafs and being from nearby Brampton, Ontario I'm sure Seguin wants to suit up for that contest.

Tyler Seguin
John Albert will make his NHL debut tonight for the Jets.

Not to be mistaken for the UFC fighter, Albert has spent the last two seasons and 23 games this season with the St. John's IceCaps. In 111 games he has recorded 15 goals and 25 assists (40 points). Albert describes himself as a two-way forward who works hard in the dirty areas of the ice. He is not a fantasy relevant player but the Ohio State product will provide some energy and forward depth in limited minutes with the Jets.

Minnesota Wild rookie Matt Dumba has been invited to Canada’s National Junior Team selection camp for the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship. He is one 25 players invited to the camp.

Dumba is the only NHL player on Team Canada's World Junior roster and he has been loaned to the team by the Wild. Dumba has been invited to Canada’s National Junior Team selection camp for the last two seasons, and was the final cut both years, that won't happen this year...

Matt Dumba
Crawford will start on Tuesday.

Crawford allowed a single goal on 29 shots in a win over the Stars on Friday. It was his fourth consecutive win and also the third straight game he allowed just one goal. He finished October off 10-2-1 with a 2.47 GAA and .911 and now leads the NHL with 17 wins, two ahead of Antti Niemi.

Corey Crawford
Laich (lower-body) will not play tomorrow.

Laich will miss his third straight game on Tuesday. Jay Beagle will remain in the lineup after two strong games in Laich's absence. Consider him day-to-day, as the injury is not believed to be all that serious.

Brooks Laich
Franson (lower-body) did not skate today but Randy Carlyle called it a maintenance day.

Franson was a late scratch in Saturday's loss to the Canadiens. Carlyle called Franson an "option" for tomorrow's contest with the Sharks. Whatever injury Franson suffered in Friday's game, it does not appear to be serious and he should be back on the blueline very soon. Monitor his status tomorrow, as he is expected to skate in the a.m.

Cody Franson
Emery starts for the Flyers.

Emery stopped 31 of 34 shots in a loss to the Lightning on Wednesday. He is firmly behind Steve Mason for the Flyers starting job, but Emery in 3-2-0 with a 1.42 GAA and .947 SV% in his last five starts - making him a good spot-start option whenever he gets the call. Tonight he faces a Wild team who have lost four straight while only scoring a combined four goals in those games.

Ray Emery
Holtby gets the nod on Tuesday.

Holtby stopped all but two of 39 shots in a win over the Islanders on Saturday. It was the second straight great performance after being shelled for five on Wednesday. Holtby closed out November with a 8-3-1 record accompanied by a 2.35 GAA and .933 SV% - a vast improvement over his 3.07/.913 of October.

Braden Holtby
Lecavalier (back) won't play tonight vs. Minnesota.

Lecavalier did not skate this morning and won't play due to a back issue. He suffered the injury prior to scoring the game-winning shootout goal on Saturday vs. Nashville. It does not sound like a serious injury and he should be considered day-to-day. Michael Raffl will move up to the second line and Brayden Schenn will shift back to centre.

Vincent Lecavalier
Pavelec gets the start for the Jets.

Pavelec allowed two goals on 34 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Flyers on Friday. A slow start cost the Jets who were unable to overcome a 2-0 deficit when they decided to start skating in the third. Pav will go head-to-head with rookie netminder Cam Talbot tonight.

Ondrej Pavelec
Harding will be between the pipes vs. the Flyers.

Harding allowed two goals on 25 shots in 3-2 shootout loss to the Avalanche on Saturday. He lost back-to-back games to the Avalanche this weekend, but to no fault of his own. Harding continues to impress this season, posting a 13-4-3 with a 1.52 GAA and .936 SV% through the first two months.
