David Booth will be out 4-6 weeks with a strained groin.
Missing 4-6 weeks really hurts Booth's fantasy value considering the fantasy season is so short. He'll likely be out for almost half of the fantasy season.

Bylsma says both Tangradi and Bennett are likely to get time with Malkin and Neal during the scrimmage Wednesday.
Tangradi played with Malkin and Neal on Monday, while Bennett played with them today. Keep an eye on this line, whoever plays with Malkin and Neal receives a boost in fantasy value.

Tangradi skated with Malkin and Neal yesterday, but the 21 year old Bennett was on that line today. Monitor this line going forward because whoever plays with Malkin and Neal will receive a large boost in fantasy value.
James van Riemsdyk took a shot off the ankle and limped off the ice today in practice.
Keep an eye on van Riemsdyk's status as Saturday approaches.
Jake Gardiner skated for 15 minutes ahead of practice with strength and conditioning coach Anthony Belza.
This is the first time Gardiner has skated since DEC 8. He's looking to take the next step in the NHL after scoring 30 pts in 75 games. Could be an okay fantasy option this year when he is healthy.

RIchards is expected to be ready for the start of the season, and center the Rangers first line with Rick Nash.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
