It’s a big day for Scott Parse, who is skating today for the first time since he underwent early-season hip surgery. Parse got checked out by a doctor in Nashville last week and got cleared to start skating. There’s no indication as to when Parse might be able to play again, but it seems unlikely to happen this season.

Parse might be an option to play next season with the Kings. However, the unrestricted free agent would need to be re-signed first.
