Gibson will start Monday in St. Louis.

Gibson allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Ducks loss in Chicago on Saturday. It was the fourth time in five games that Gibson has allowed four goals, allowing a combined 18 goals on 161 shots (.888 SV%) over that span. The Ducks are just so porous defensively that Gibson barely stands a chance. He should be avoided in St. Louis, where the Blues have won eight straight while scoring 4.00 goals per game.

The Red Wings have reassigned Moritz Seider to Grand Rapids (AHL).

Seider was loaned to Team Germany, where he served as team captain and had six assists in seven World Junior games. The 18-year-old played massive minutes for his home country and returns to the Griffins looking to build off of the 12 points (1G / 11A) he accumulated in 28 games earlier in the year.

Gibson allowed four goals on 26 shots in the Ducks win over the Predators on Sunday. He was given Tuesday night off, so there was no doubt that they'd come back to Gibson tonight vs. the Stars. In his first start against Dallas, Gibson gave up two goals on 29 shots in a 2-1 loss in late-October.
