Talbot stopped 46 of the 48 shots that he faced in the Flames win in Arizona last Tuesday. Talbot has been impressive in his last two starts, going 2-0 while stopping 76 of the 81 shots (.938 SV%). The Jets have sent Mason Appleton to Manitoba (AHL).

Appleton has been on IR since mind-October but has been cleared to play, so he goes to the AHL to get some games in. Since he was last in the lineup, the Jets have added Nick Shore via waivers, bulking up their bottom-6 depth and allowing them to send Appleton to the AHL.

Mason Appleton
Talbot will start Saturday vs. the Kings.

Talbot allowed six goals on 37 shots in the Flames loss in Vegas on November 17th. David Rittich has started the last seven games but Talbot will get a start tonight vs. the Kings. He is 1-5-0 with a 3.23 GAA and .893 SV% six starts this season and isn't a great option, even against a Kings team that played last night.
