Perfetti failed to record a point in his first two NHL games and gets reassigned to AHL where he can play top-6 minutes. Perfetti had nine goals and 17 assists (26 points) in 32 AHL games last year.
Barron has had a nice start to the 2021-22 season, scoring two goals in his first two AHL games. The 22-year-old has one goal in five career NHL games and will take Kaapo Kakko's (upper-body) spot on the roster.

The Capitals were the only team to put a claim in for Jonsson-Fjallby, so he was eligible to be sent to the AHL. The 23-year-old winger had 10 goals and five assists (15 points) in 31 games with Hershey last season.
Driedger's selection in the Expansion Draft was the worst kept secret of the process. The 27-year-old has been outstanding over the last two seasons, leading the NHL in GAA (2.07) and SV% (.931) while going 21-8-4 in 34 starts. Driedger will get a shot to be a No.1 for the first time in his career with Vitek Vanecek serving as his backup.
