Charlie Lindgren will start Friday vs. Winnipeg.

Lindgren allowed three goals on 19 shots (.842 SV%) and picked up his seventh victory in eight starts as he beat Detroit in his last start. The 29-year-old is one of the hottest goalies as of late, with his 9-4-2 record, 2.71 GAA and .910 SV%. He will face the Winnipeg Jets, who lost their last game 3-2 to Boston but rank ninth in the NHL in goals per game (3.38).

Antti Raanta will start again Friday as Carolina takes on Philadelphia.

Raanta will start for the second time in as many days, after stopping 24 of 27 shots (.889 SV%) for his second straight win as he defeated Pittsburgh Thursday. The Hurricanes' backup has been anything but solid so far this season, with his .891 SV%, 2.77 GAA and 6-2-2 record. He takes on the Philadelphia Flyers, who are 30th in the NHL in goals per game (2.48).

Cole Perfetti will be out of the Jets' lineup Friday and is considered day-to-day (undisclosed).

Perfetti has six goals, 14 assists, 62 SOG, 16 PIMs and is a +5 plus/minus and will miss Friday's game due to an undisclosed injury. He is considered day-to-day and the Jets will be hoping to have him back for after the holiday break.

David Rittich will start Friday vs. Washington.

Rittich stopped 35 of 36 shots (.972 SV%) for his third win in five starts as he beat Ottawa his last time out. The 30-year-old backup netminder has been solid this season, with his 5-3-0 record, 2.55 GAA and .909 SV%. He draws the Washington Capitals, who are in the middle of a three-game win streak after a 3-2 overtime win over Ottawa in their previous game.

Arthur Kaliyev will miss his second straight game as he is day-to-day with an injury (undisclosed).

Kaliyev missed Thursday's game vs. Calgary due to an undisclosed injury and will be out til at least after the holidays as he is considered day-to-day for now. The 21-year-old had been enjoying a solid sophomore season, with nine goals, 10 assists, 79 SOG and a -2 plus/minus through 34 games prior to the injury.

Binnington was the first goalie off of the ice at the Blues morning skate.

Binnington stopped 33 of 34 shots (.971 SV%) for his third straight victory as he beat the Vancouver Canucks in his previous start. The six-year-veteran has gone through much more lows, than highs this season, as shown by his 12-11-1 record, .897 SV% and 3.11 GAA. He faces the Vegas Golden Knights, who are leading the Pacific Division and are 10th in the NHL in both shots per game (32.7) and goals per game (3.29).

Thompson will start Thursday vs. the Blues.

Thompson stopped 21 of 23 shots (.913 SV%) for his second win in three starts as he beat Arizona in his previous game. The rookie netminder has been incredibly solid this season, with his 15-8-0 record, 2.61 GAA and .917 SV%. He will face the St. Louis Blues, who lost their last game 5-2 to Seattle and are 27th in the NHL in shots per game (29.4).

Dostal will start Friday vs. the Flames.

Dostal will get the rare back-to-back start Friday after allowing three goals on 41 shots (.927 SV%) in a loss to Minnesota Thursday. The 22-year-old has been relied upon heavily lately due to injuries, which has led to his 2-3-0 record, 3.66 GAA and .904 SV%. He will face the Calgary Flames, who are also on the back end of a back-to-back after losing 4-3 in overtime to Los Angeles Thursday.

Brayden Pachal has been recalled from the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL).

Pachal will return to the Golden Knights for the second time this season after he collected one assist and a +1 plus/minus in two games in his previous call-up. In Henderson (AHL), he had two goals, six assists and 67 PIMs through 27 games while captaining Vegas' minor league affiliate.

Pavel Dorofeyev has been recalled from the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL).

Dorofeyev has six goals, six assists, 24 PIMs and is a -3 plus/minus through 21 games with Henderson (AHL) but will be recalled Friday for the first time this season to join the Vegas Golden Knights. The 22-year-old had previously played two NHL games in 2021-22, but failed to pick up a point.

Jonathan Marchessault will miss Friday's game vs. St. Louis as he is day-to-day with an injury (lower body).

Marchessault has 14 goals, 13 assists, 121 SOG and nine PIMs through 35 games but will be forced to miss his first game of the year Friday as he is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Pavel Dorofeyev and Brayden Pachal were both recalled in corresponding moves.

Paul Cotter has been placed on the injured reserve (upper body).

Cotter did not play in the Golden Knights game Wednesday and will head to the injured reserve due to an upper-body injury. Cotter had been playing well in his first full NHL season, with four goals, two assists, 29 SOG and eight PIMs through 22 games prior to the injury.
