Denis Gurianov has been granted an indefinite leave of absence from the Stars due to family reasons.

Gurianov has struggled to produce at his normal rate in 2022-23, with two goals, three assists, 41 SOG and a -4 plus/minus through 25 games played. He will take an indefinite leave of absence due to family reasons and will step away from the team for the time being.

Denis Gurianov
Aleksander Barkov is day-to-day and will miss Wednesday's game (lower body).

Barkov is not expected back to the Panthers' lineup until after Christmas as he deals with a lower-body injury. Barkov has six goals, 16 assists, 82 SOG and a +5 plus/minus through 25 games played but will miss Wednesday's game vs. Boston. Barkov missed 15 games last season due to injury and will be hoping that he is only day-to-day with this recent development.

Aleksander Barkov
Radko Gudas will remain out until after the Christmas Holiday (concussion).

Gudas has not played since Dec. 3rd due to a concussion and will be out until after Christmas as he continues to deal with his injury. The 32-year-old bruiser has two goals, six points, 49 SOG and 39 PIMs in 25 games prior to the injury

Radko Gudas
Anton Lundell will return to the Panthers' lineup Wednesday vs. New Jersey (upper body).

Lundell has not played since Dec. 1st due to an upper-body injury and illness and it seemed as though he was close to returning last week, but will officially return Tuesday vs. New Jersey. The 21-year-old has four goals, 13 points, 56 SOG and a +9 plus/minus in 24 games prior to missing time.

Anton Lundell
Cal Clutterbuck has been placed on the injured reserve

Clutterbuck missed the Islanders' previous game due to an upper-body injury and will now head to the injured reserve retroactive to 12/16. The 35-year-old had just recently become the all-time hits leader in the NHL and has three goals, five points, 14 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus in 26 games prior to the injury.

Cal Clutterbuck
Bobrovsky will start Wednesday vs. the Devils.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 32 shots (.938 SV%) for his second win in three starts as he beat New Jersey in his last time out. The 34-year-old has been better as of late, but struggled nonetheless this season, with his 7-9-1 record, 3.26 GAA and .894 SV%. He will face the plummeting New Jersey Devils, who have lost six straight after a defeat to Carolina on Tuesday night.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Artem Zub has signed a 4-year, $4.6 Million AAV extension with the Senators.

Zub has two goals, two assists, 10 PIMs, and 15 SOG while averaging 22:01 ATOI across 14 games played and will now be signed in the Nation's capital for four more years, at an average of $4.6 million per year. The 27-year-old has 11 goals, 29 assists, 96 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus across 142 career games played in three NHL seasons.

Artem Zub
Jones will start Tuesday vs. the Blues.

Jones last game was a relief effort a week ago (Dec.13) vs. Tampa Bay, where he allowed two goals on 10 shots (.800 SV%) while getting no decision. Jones has a great record (13-5-2) but has struggled most nights as shown by his .888 SV% and 2.95 GAA. He takes on the incredibly streaky St. Louis Blues, who are in the middle of a four-game winning streak.

Martin Jones
Jason Zucker will play Tuesday after being a game-time decision (undisclosed).

Zucker was having a great bounce season with six goals, 20 points, 67 SOG and a +6 plus/minus through 27 games but has been out since Dec. 12th due to an undisclosed injury. It marked the fifth straight season where Zucker was forced to miss a chunk of games due to injury, so a return is great news for the Penguins.

Jason Zucker
Igor Shesterkin will start Tuesday vs. Pittsburgh.

Shesterkin stopped 29 of 30 shots (.967 SV%) to pick up his sixth straight win in a victory over Chicago in his last start. He has continued his Vezina Trophy-winning form from a season ago, with his 16-4-4 record, 2.39 GAA and .919 SV%. He will face the Pittsburgh Penguins, who just snapped a seven-game winning streak with a loss vs. Carolina in their previous game.

Igor Shesterkin
Pyotr Kochetkov will start Tuesday vs. Carolina.

Kochetkov stopped 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%) for his fourth straight win in his last start as he beat the Pittsburgh Penguins. The rookie netminder has been a revelation for the Hurricanes in his first season, with his 9-1-4 record, 2.01 GAA and .923 SV%. He will face the New Jersey Devils, who are on a bit of a slide, having lost their last five games.

Pyotr Kochetkov
Chris Tanev has been activated off the injured reserve and will likely return to action vs. San Jose (upper body).

Tanev has missed the Flames' last four games after taking a shot to the head just over a week ago and will be activated from the injured reserve Tuesday. The stay-at-home defenseman has five assists, 22 SOG and four PIMs through 24 games played.
