Daily Fantasy Hockey Notebook | 12-18-17
Whether you spend your entire day at work or school, it can be difficult to stay on top of all NHL news. That’s why I have created the Daily Fantasy Notebook, so you can catch up on everything you might have missed throughout the day.
The notebook will be released everyday after teams wrap up their morning skate. It will include a number of things: Injury updates, prominent line changes, goalie rankings and DFS value picks.
While this is obviously more geared towards daily fantasy hockey, it can be just as useful for season-long players as well. Injuries are obviously key, but important line changes could be viewed as as potential waiver wire pickups and the goalie rankings can help you make the tough starting goalie decisions you face on large slates.
Key Injuries
IN
– Taylor Hall (knee contusion) will be back in the Devils lineup after a two-game absence.
– Kyle Palmieri (foot) will play for the first time since November 20th.
– Alexander Kerfoot (leg) is expected to be back in the Avalanche lineup.
– Adam Larsson (upper-body) has been activated from IR; will return to the Oilers blueline.
– Mikkel Boedker (undisclosed) is expected to be be back in the Sharks lineup in Edmonton.
GAME-TIME DECISION
– Dominik Simon (illness) will be a game-time decision in Colorado.
OUT
– Marcus Johansson (ankle) is not expected to return to the Devils lineup vs. Anaheim.
– Patric Hornqvist (upper-body) has been sent back to Pittsburgh and will not play in Colorado.
– Logan Couture (concussion) will not play Monday in Edmonton.
