Whether you spend your entire day at work or school, it can be difficult to stay on top of all NHL news. That’s why I have created the Daily Fantasy Notebook, so you can catch up on everything you might have missed throughout the day.
The notebook will be released everyday after teams wrap up their morning skate. It will include a number of things: Injury updates, projected lines, goalie rankings and DFS value picks.
Key Injuries
IN
– Mark Scheifele (upper-body) will draw back into the Jets lineup.
– John Gibson (lower-body) was the first goalie off of the ice at the Ducks’ morning skate; is expected to start.
– Alec Martinez (lower-body) is expected play after a two-game absence.
– Johnny Boychuk (lower-body) has been activated from IR; is expected to play vs. Detroit.
GAMETIME DECISIONS
– Conor Sheary (lower-body) will be a game-time decision.
– Carter Rowney (lower-body) will be a game-time decision.
OUT
– Brock Boeser (hand) will not play in Carolina.
– Ryan McDonagh (upper-body) will not play vs. the Flames
– Markus Granlund (ankle) has returned to Vancouver.
– Marc Staal (neck) has been placed on IR.
– Troy Brouwer is week-to-week with a facial fracture.
– Joel Edmundson will miss six weeks after undergoing surgery on his broken forearm.
– Julius Honka (upper-body) was hurt in Thursday’s game and is expected to miss Friday’s game.
– Martin Hanzal (undisclosed) will not play Friday.
– Michael Hutchinson is out indefinitely with a concussion.
– Chris Tanev (lower-body) will not play in Carolina.
