Daily Fantasy Hockey Notebook | 01-04-18

Whether you spend your entire day at work or school, it can be difficult to stay on top of all NHL news. That’s why I have created the Daily Fantasy Notebook, so you can catch up on everything you might have missed throughout the day.

The notebook will be released everyday after teams wrap up their morning skate. It will include a number of things: Injury updates, projected lines, goalie rankings and DFS value picks.

Key Injuries

IN 

– Marc Methot (knee) will play for the first time since November 6th.
– Martin Hanzal (undisclosed) will be back after a three-game absence.
– Ryan Callahan (shoulder) will play after missing the last eight games.
– Nino Niederreiter (ankle) will return after a fave-game absence.

GAMETIME DECISION

– Alex Galchenyuk (illness) is questionable for Thursday.

OUT

– Jaromir Jagr (undisclosed) will not be in the Flames lineup.
– Vince Dunn (illness) will miss his second straight game.
– Brian Dumoulin is day-to-day with a concussion.
– Carter Rowney (upper-body) will miss at least four weeks.
– Shea Weber (foot) is expected to be out until after the All-Star break. 1- Patrick Maroon (suspension) will not play for two games.
