Daily Fantasy Hockey Notebook (11/30)
Whether you spend your entire day at work or school, it can be difficult to stay on top of all NHL news. That’s why I have created the Daily Fantasy Notebook, so you can catch up on everything you might have missed throughout the day.
The notebook will be released everyday after teams wrap up their morning skate. It will include a number of things: Injury updates, prominent line changes, goalie rankings and DFS value picks.
While this is obviously more geared towards daily fantasy hockey, it can be just as useful for season-long players as well. Injuries are obviously key, but important line changes could be viewed as as potential waiver wire pickups and the goalie rankings can help you make the tough starting goalie decisions you face on large slates.
Key Injuries
– Christian Djoos (upper-body) will return to the Capitals lineup vs. the Kings.
– Martin Frk (groin) will be a game-time decision.
– Trevor Daley (upper-body) will be a game-time decision.
– Jonathan Drouin (lower-body) did not travel to Detroit.
– Shea Weber (lower-body) traveled to Detroit but was placed on IR; won’t play against the Red Wings.
– Jared Spurgeon (groin) will miss the next couple of games.
– Luca Sbisa (lower-body) has been activated from IR; will return to the Golden Knights blueline.
– Martin Hanzal (lower-body) stayed back in Dallas; will not play in Chicago.
– Cam Talbot was placed on IR; will miss at least two weeks with an upper-body injury.
– Auston Matthews (illness) missed the morning skate but will play in Edmonton.
– Jaromir Jagr (lower-body) will return to the Flames lineup.
– Niklas Hjalmarsson (upper-body) will miss the next couple of games.
