Daily Fantasy Hockey Notebook | 12-05-17

Whether you spend your entire day at work or school, it can be difficult to stay on top of all NHL news. That’s why I have created the Daily Fantasy Notebook, so you can catch up on everything you might have missed throughout the day.

The notebook will be released everyday after teams wrap up their morning skate. It will include a number of things: Injury updates, prominent line changes, goalie rankings and DFS value picks.

While this is obviously more geared towards daily fantasy hockey, it can be just as useful for season-long players as well. Injuries are obviously key, but important line changes could be viewed as as potential waiver wire pickups and the goalie rankings can help you make the tough starting goalie decisions you face on large slates.

Key Injuries

– Mika Zibanejad remains sidelined with a concussion.
– Kyle Connor (lower-body) took part in the Jets morning skate and is expected to play in Detroit.
– Jonathan Drouin (lower-body) will miss his third consecutive game.
– Ryan Johansen (upper-body) missed yesterday’s game and is questionable for Tuesday.
– Colin Wilson (undisclosed) will return to the Avalanche lineup after a three-game absence.
– Nathan Beaulieu (illness) will not be in the lineup.
– David Perron (upper-body) will be a game-time decision.
– Hampus Lindholm (upper-body) stayed in Anaheim and will not play.
– Rickard Rakell (upper-body) is expected to be back in the Ducks lineup.
